NEWS: National Living Wage Comes into Effect April 1st

The National Living Wage (NLW) comes into effect this Friday. The legislation which was proposed last year by George Osborne’s Budget, will from April see an increase in the National Living Wage (not to be confused with the Living Wage or the National Minimum Wage). The government’s intent is to increase the rate yearly, so that by 2020, workers over 25 will legally have to earn £9.00 per hour. We made an infographic to help you break it all down and understand what it means (and if it affects you!).
