I am a creative and driven individual who is enthusiastic about being a dependable asset to the team.
After completing my A-Levels, i now study at Royal Holloway University of London as a Management with Marketing student and am due to finish my first year on the 23rd May. I am seeking a fashion-orienteered career pathway as fashion has always been a subject I have lusted over. I love the way that it can make a statement in a snapshot, and have followed this love by creating my own blog this summer. Working in the world of fashion and accessories has always been my dream because of this and the diversity and statements that it can provide. An interest of mine since I was combining my wellies and princess dresses together when I was seven!
I feel that experiences make a person, and i have been very fortunate to have had so many opportunities for a young age. From experiencing an insider viewpoint of how Sky Media works last year and designing and presenting a presentation to some of the leaders of the company to working on photo shoots and shooting e-comm of which truly encaptured my love for fashion at Motel Rocks. It could be argued it was this experience that made me certain that this is what i wanted to do with my life, a great mix of professionalism, creativity and social aspects all mashed up into one job.
I have been fortunate to engage in some less-professional but still vital to the makings of who i am and how i act. For example, my Duke of Edinburgh experience has led me feeling motivated and determined to see a positive light in even the darkest of situations. When on Gold DofE, we had to travel down a mountain at 2am to escape a 75mph hurricane, you truly felt alive; and it is these situations that i thank to make a much stronger character and much more motivated to cease any opportunity that befalls me.
Not to mention, I believe my dedication to my school and university will only continue in my workplace. At my school, i was Senior Head Girl where i made changes to my sixth form like establishing a more student-focused approach and meeting with a psychologist to discuss the mental health issues rising in the school environment. I was also a point of contact for the younger Head Boys and Head Girls from year 8, and 10 if they had any concerns or doubts over their positions all whilst completing my A-Levels. At my university, i decided to apply for Management Student Ambassadors and was able to get a place. We are the front face for the department and it shows their faith in my social skills in picking me as we talk and engage with prospective students and their families.
