Background

I hold a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Photographic Media from Lancaster University. I have always had a strong interest in the arts, culture and
history. From frequenting museums and galleries in my free time to making photographs; I find myself most productive and
inspired when immersed in creativity. During the course of my career and studies, I have used many different mediums ranging from 35mm
film, medium and large format and DSLR including Nikon, Canon and Sony. I can instinctively and intuitively select lenses, additional
equipment and camera settings. I also have extensive experience of multiple darkroom processes, as well as software such as Adobe
Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator. I keep up to date with the latest technical advancements within photography and welcome new ways
to hone my craft. I pride myself on my ability to plan efficiently and stay organised, particularly in regards to undertaking research and project
management. Constructing shoots both in a studio environment and on location, I am confident with designing studio lighting set ups and
tweaking throughout. Clients comment positively on my process from discussing ideas through to completion, stating that I am articulate,
enthusiastic whilst remaining mindful and observant, and that I have a calm and creative approach to problem solving.
