██████ █████████'s CV

My name is Andrew Jreissaty and I am an American citizen of Lebanese descent.
Growing up in a diverse community in Saudi Arabia, I gained a deep appreciation for different cultures from all parts of the globe. I recently completed two Masters degrees in Chemical Engineering and Technology Innovation Management at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), having previously obtained an A.B. in Physics from Georgetown University in 2013 and worked as a maths teacher and football coach in England the following year.

I have learned an incredible amount from my experiences in Saudi Arabia, at
Georgetown, in England, at CMU and more recently in Thailand. I have attempted to solve various kinds of problems; I have learned about managing groups; I have learned about the power of communication. I was able to apply these skills in my role as a summer intern with the Mae Fah Luang Foundation in Thailand, where my team and I worked on assessing the feasibility of setting up a local bamboo charcoal business. Likewise, I continued to hone these skills while coaching the CMU Men’s Club Soccer team. To me, this is just the beginning. I want to keep working and learning, and I'm excited for whatever comes next.
