Background

I am a confident, intelligent and creative young woman, eager to support my International Management and French degree with further professional experience. I believe that combining managerial knowledge, entrepreneurship, cultural awareness and language competency is the key to success in an environment where leaders need an international understanding and fluency.

The nature of my degree course, International Management and French, has helped prepare me for an internship, and my work as a Project Leader with Insight Consulting, part of Enactus Bath, where we consult local social enterprises and start-ups on a voluntary basis has helped me develop a passion for social enterprise and a desire to make an impact.
My university course has helped provide me with a solid base to work from, with modules during my first year including; Accounting for Managers, Business Economics (macro and micro), Quantitative Methods and Data Analysis, UK Legal Environment (Contract and Tort Law), French Business Environment and other French language modules.

I am self-motivated, responsible, conscientious and enthusiastic and the opportunity of an internship really excites me. Part-time work at Waitrose has shown me the importance of impeccable customer service where I strive to provide the best service I can within the John Lewis Partnership, where a strong emphasis is placed on customer satisfaction. I also developed my communication skills while dealing with customers, both on the shop floor, during phone calls, and also with other colleagues.

I am an individual inspired by the power of entrepreneurship in creating long term, sustainable changes to improve the lives of others. Through Enactus Bath, I am currently making and seeing these changes locally, and would love to help inspire and change on a larger scale, learning essential business skills through further professional experience.
