Supports a variety of business strategy projects through financial and business analysis.
Supports multiple business strategy projects of varying scope; projects may be within a business unit, across multiple business units, or involve an acquisition, the development of an equity alliance, or the creation of a joint venture.
Assists in the design and development of strategy through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Performs financial and business analysis support for strategic business decisions and capital investment projects; shares analytical work with senior leaders.
Supports a strategy project leader in a wide variety of projects across the entire enterprise to include diverse, cross-functional teams.
Communicates analysis and strategy topics to a variety of audiences through both written and oral communication.
Additional Responsibilities:

May include Marketing Strategy and Research, Marketing Communication, Product Management, Product Planning and/or Sales.
Initiate creative thinking and contribute consistently.
Work in cross functional groups to implement continuous improvement.
Actively particpate in 6 Sigma project teams.
Become familiar with Cummins products, business units and brands.
Manage projects to improve key business processes.
Develop communications tailored to fit the audience. Interact and present to various levels of management.
Champion change and anticipate needs with a strategic mindset.

A comprehensive induction programme as well as role specific training.
Individual training to suit [articular business skills enquired by the business or identified by the candidate.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree required.
MBA, Masters or equivalent degree essential.

Significant relevant work experience required.
Previous experience in a sales environment

Ability to work in cross functional teams.
Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects with minimum supervision.
6 Sigma knowledge an advantage.
Candidate should be able to gather and analyse imperfect information and create recommendations that are congruent with Cummins strategy.
Ability to apply strategic frameworks to analyse problems and develop solutions.
Work effectively with others, regardless of authority, in order to get work done, solve problems and continuously improve quality.
Cope with change and uncertainty. Ability to see what needs to be done and contribute even when specific roles and responsibilities may be unclear.
The vacancy can be flexible to suit the applications needs from 3 to 12 months duration.

Sa*lary: 36,000 p.a.*
