About the Programme

By joining our Management Trainee Programme you will work closely with and gain an insider’s view of the people, processes and technology that are transforming our business. Each placement carries real responsibility and you will be expected to deliver what the business requires of you. You will be given specific objectives relative to each area so that you are contributing from day one. Each scheme supports the development of your skills, knowledge and experience to help you become a leader of the future.

Location(s): Nationwide (multiple relocations)

Duration: 2 years 

Placements: 4 (6 months each)

Start: September 2017

Salary: £26,000 per year (additional London Allowance if applicable)

We are offering two streams in this area of our business: -

Energy Management

You will be developed into the energy managers of the future, with possible career paths in multiple parts of our energy divisions. Over four placements you could be supporting our Renewables team in driving the construction of the next solar park, onshore windfarm or energy storage site; helping our urban energy team transform our cities by delivering heating, cooling and power in our growing number of district t energy schemes; or you could be working with our Energy Efficiency team to support our customers realise the exciting and innovative ways in which ENGIE can deliver carbon and cost savings across their estates.

You will be a great problem solver, team player and have a good technical or business  degree. You will show a passion for working in the energy sector and a desire to work in a customer facing role.

Training and Professional Development Opportunities

Our programme is supported by a number of training events aimed to develop key skills and knowledge essential to your role. You will also have the opportunity to gain a relative qualification.

Even before you start the programme you will be allocated a Graduate “buddy” from our current graduate population and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and visit their placement before you start – giving you a firsthand experience of our business.  Mentors are then allocated during your second placement.

  • You will need to be fully mobile as the placements could be based anywhere within the UK as they are nationwide
