Motivated, enthusiastic Telesales Representatives are sought to join the Westminster office of our rapidly expanding business. If you have sales / telesales experience, a great attitude and be keen to progress, this is the opportunity for you!

The organisation sells charity event services to some of the largest retailers in the country including ASOS, Argos, Holland & Barrett, House of Fraser, Homebase, Iceland Foods, Tesco and many more. We are a major employer in the area, and are looking for committed, energetic and focused individuals to join our busy team. You will be following contacting senior executives to engage their support for charitable events held by their business partners, all warm calling.

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00

The role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, with a view to offering a permanent position after a successful 2 -3 months temporary contract.

Working across print, digital, events and bespoke projects for direct clients - this position requires a determined and well-rounded individual with ideally some experience in sales but not required.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Reporting directly into the Sales & Marketing Director - your role will encompass both new business acquisition as well as in time industry sector management.

Day to day you will be calling suppliers and partners of major retailers to invite them to events held by the retailer including Golf Days and Gala Dinners. This will also involve them sponsoring the event in the form of adverising within the events official souvenir programme.

Primary objectives will be to ensure both you and the team meet and strive to exceed monthly and quarterly targets - by maximising fund raising from your given project or event, as well as helping in cross-team pitches to win larger campaigns.

Person Specification

The ideal Telesales Representative will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in a Telesales / Call Centre role or be able to demonstrate experience with understanding needs and influencing decision makers
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • A high energy approach to sales
  • A strong desire to succeed
  • A great attitude
  • Strong work ethic with a positive outlook and high standards
  • Ability to keep a consistently high level of output, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written are essential
  • You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own, with the level of perseverance and tenacity required
  • As part of a multichannel and multidisciplinary team, you should also be able to share ideas, work well with others and fit within the teams’ dynamics
  • A key part of your role is to listen to and understand your clients’ needs, and provide specific, targeted and well thought out solutions to match these needs. In order to do this your proposals will be of a high standard and will be well thought out, tailored, and intelligent
  • Excellent time management skills are essential - covering a myriad of advertising brands and options, across a wide client base, the ability to manage client expectations and workload is pivotal
  • Administrative skills - you will be required to keep a record of all sales activity on our CRM (Insightly) as well as shared drives and googlemail online document system


First 0 - 3 months Temporary Trainee Contract

  • Effective training will be provided for you to achieve your goals
  • You will earn a basic salary of £16,000 - £18,000 per annum depending on experience
  • The most successful interns can also earn discretionary monthly bonus ranging from£200 to £400
  • Plus percentage of everything sold over £3,000 threshold
  • OTE: £24,000

Once permanent:

  • Your salary will increase to £18 - £20k
  • Permanent position with the company
  • Generous commission structure
  • OTE: £42,000
