To gain relevant work experience and provide support by performing tasks within both Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Introduction of new products and/or processes to the plant, with an emphasis on the following key activities:

Creation/modification of documentation, predominantly PFMEA’s and Work Instructions

Interpretation of Engineering Drawings

Involvement in new Tooling introduction, and Tooling modifications

Involvement in Robot Welding adjustments

Support various improvements to existing processes of the following types:

Productivity improvements

Dimensional improvements of assemblies

Process cycle time improvements

Elimination or reduction in Quality defects

Creation/modification of existing documentation

Use of lean manufacturing principles such as:

Line balancing

Bottleneck elimination

TPM

5S

SMED

TRAINING PROVIDED:

A comprehensive induction programme as well as role specific training.

Individual training to suit particular business skills required by the business or identified by the candidate.

Qualifications
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Working towards a 2:1 in Mechanical, Automotive or similar Engineering degree (2nd Year Completed)
Salary: 17,000 p.a.
